Thurman Mill Redesign
Phase I of the Ray Neef, MD, River Recreation Park includes the rebuilding Thurman Mill Diversion which forms the 36th Street Wave. Prior to this, the bank along that section of the Greenbelt must be reinforced to support the dam, and widened to accommodate Greenbelt and River Park pedestrian and bike traffic. Thurman Mill Map
Detail on the location of the Thurman Mill Diversion. Greenbelt users will be familiar with this location, East of Veteran's Parkway, before the Fairview Avenue Bridge. Others might have lived in Boise their whole lives without knowing about this area.

From State Street, take 27th Street south, turn West on Pleasanton and follow all the way to the end at Idaho River Sports. From there continue on the Greenbelt spur to the Boise River. Neef River Park Logo
